Pine Grove Country Club

Welcome

One of the oldest clubs in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Pine Grove Country Club offers a quality course in a pristine north woods environment. Located in the heart of the City of Iron Mountain, just two hours north of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Pine Grove's 18-hole course is carved out of virgin stands of white pine, red pine, oaks, Hole #16 and maple. The challenging terrain features an 84-foot elevation change. In addition to spectacular views, Canadian geese, bald eagles, white-tailed deer, red fox, pileated woodpeckers, white-throated sparrows, Baltimore orioles, and many other summering birds can be sighted or heard on the course.

Pine Grove is a semi-private golf club dating back to 1902. This course has state-of-the-art course maintenance technology including double-row irrigation. The original 9-hole course was upgraded to 18 holes in a Packard redesign in the 60s. Four sets of tees offer options for all levels of golf. Open Play is available to non-members on Monday all day, Thursday and Friday before noon, and on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays after 1:00 PM. Groups can be accommodated no sooner than six days prior to desired golf dates. A fleet of rental carts is available.

Hole #14 The 20,000 square foot clubhouse, designed by Zimmerman Design Group of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was completed in 2002. Pro Shop, locker room, food, beverage, meeting and banquet services are available seven days a week.

The number of golf memberships is capped at 450 to assure optimum conditions for golf. Social memberships top out at about 80 each year. The golf season runs from April through October 31st, with opening day determined by course conditions. A long tradition of annual golf and social events enriches the Pine Grove experience. The clubhouse remains open year round, with weekday lunch, Friday dining, special events, and banquet services available.
