Mike Healy to Officiate the Masters
2008 Rules Tune-Up and Masters Re-Cap
On Wednesday, April 16th, 2008, Mike Healy will be speaking about some of
the Rules of Golf changes that will take plance in 2008, along with a
re-cap of his trip to the Masters as a working rules official. All Pine
Grove members and their guests are invited. The presentation will begin
at 6:00 p.m. More information will be available soon.

Golf club storage is available year-round.
During the winter the bag room will be locked. Please contact the club office
to retrieve clubs. 24-hour notice will be appreciated. The office will be open
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Call 774-2994.
Golf cart storage is available in the cart barns.
Contact the club office if you are interested in cart storage for 2008.
Ladies lockers are available for 2008.
There are no men's lockers available at this time. Contact the club office
to get on the wait list. If you have a locker, but do not use it, please consider
giving it up for those waiting.
PGCC Junior Golf Clinics and Tournaments
Junior golf clinics will be held on the following days in June: 5,6,9,10,12,
and 13. Clinic times will be as follows: 9&18 holers: 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. or
8:30 to 9:15 a.m; 6 holers: 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. or 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.; and 3&1 holers:
10:45 to 11:30 a.m. The clinics for 18 and 9-hole golfers will cover putting,
chipping, pitch shots, bunker shots, irons and woods. Hands-on instruction will
check grip, posture, alignment and swing balance. The clinics for 6, 3, and 1-hole
golfers will cover swing basics, as well as course etiquette, rules and
sportsmanship. The cost of the clinic series is $45.00. Each student has the opportunity
to "graduate" to the next level as soon as their play ability and ability to
observe golf etiquette warrant. Parent/grandparent participation is imperative
to the success of the program. Adults are asked to follow the 6,3, and 1-hole
golfers as they play to keep score and to monitor pace of play. Tournaments will
be held June 19 and 26, and July 3, 10, and 24. Tournament times will be as follows:
9&18 holers: 7:00 a.m.; 6 holers: 7:30 a.m., and 3&1 holers: 8:00 a.m. Please
return registration forms to the Pro Shop by June 1, 2008.
