The Pine Grove Country Club golf course started out as a 9-hole course in 1902.  It was, then, so far out of town that the members purchased a horse-drawn wagon to transport the ladies to the club from town.  In 1913, the first annual Upper Peninsula Golf Tournament was held here and that tournament continues today. In 1964, an additional 9 holes were added in a Lawrence Packard design.  Today the city of Iron Mountain reaches up to its borders.

Over the years many improvements have been made.  In 1999 an automated irrigation system was installed.  For the past 30 years, golf course superintendent, Rich Victorson, has managed the course.  The course receives rave reviews from visitors.  We hope you will come and play a few rounds!
